Easter/Passover where both and all the past worship
and prayers I can remember come into play
Where another year suggests
another adventure awaits
to Spring into
but till then...
I try to reject the pessimistic trek
that short of puts my mind in a wreck
Where is work today and how
is the right way to pray
to convince God to put that perfect job in my lap?
I've dedicated my time to
those who've committed greater crimes
fed the hungry
given greatly to the poor
resisted temptation... I never became a whore
Dear Lord hear my plea
give me a bloody job if you love me
start making me plentifully paid
with fabulously full benefits and a great 401k
while your at it throw in a car to boot
and make sure my annual is a shit load of loot
and savior, do me one more favor if your will be done--
while concocting this perfect fit please make sure I'm gonna
