So I'm trying this whole,
"Sitting in Starbucks to write any great American novel" lark-- and there's this guy behind me- 5foot 6ish, passed mid age, short-whitening hair (what there is left of it)
comic book animator, Jewish, writer, political activist for women's rights to have abortions, lives in West Hollywood, prefers oatmeal to cold cereal
in the morning, wont drink coffee and doesn't agree with the orthodox rules in Judaism.
he'd like a JewESS who is not terribly JewISH, but someone who laughs and is "prone to being employed" (HA HA HA...eh hem) he says he also has a difficult time talking to
a woman at a party, "I can't go up to a woman in a big group of people and start a conversation... except there was this one time when I walked up to this pretty blond at the food table and, while holding up a strawberry, "Ah yes, the strawberry- the slut of all fruits." I was really grateful she laughed!"
This guy caries a back pack, and has a permanent itch on his right arm which he keeps scratching throughout this soliloquy of self.
and... how do I know all these specifics?
He was giving this entire spiel to a guy who
is writing his profile for an article for The Jewish Journal, the writer's blog is called "My Jewish Peeps" which started as a blog picked up
point is, I learned about this guy, a total stranger, in all of about the 50 breaths he spent rapidly pitching himself to his profiling listener.
So...there IS a way to do good and make money at it.
Go to Starbucks, have a Venti-Soy-Chai-Late and listen to every conversation around
you that is loud enough to be overheard.
Fabulous.
